Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver goods across Portland metro area
- Plan and optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs per FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper lifting techniques and securement protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and issue resolution
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety policies, and company delivery procedures
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in varied weather conditions
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation software
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass DOT physical, background check, and random drug screening
