Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver freight on weekends
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
- Assist in route optimization and problem-solving during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of Sacramento metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening
