Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery trucks (Class A) to transport freight across the state safely and efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Deliver products to retail and commercial locations while adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and mileage records.
- Ensure the security of cargo and the safety of the vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT compliant).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and rotating holidays.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
