Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport and deliver goods safely and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Secure cargo properly using straps and chains to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs, mileage, and delivery records in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery and pickup locations.
- Ensure the vehicle interior and exterior are kept clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) and acceptable background check.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat or Tanker endorsements if required for the route.
