Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Safely load and unload freight using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and delivery documentation.
- Navigate efficiently through Albuquerque and surrounding routes to meet strict deadlines.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of cargo and passengers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all federal and state traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) as required.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and endure long hours of sitting/standing.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
