Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver time-sensitive shipments across California
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Maintain clean driving record and report all incidents or accidents immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience in California
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and traffic regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic proficiency with mobile delivery tracking applications
