Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods within LA County and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet tight delivery deadlines
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight with appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and delivery tracking software
- Strong knowledge of LA metropolitan area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
