Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver goods across Jacksonville metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while adhering to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Operate GPS navigation systems and communicate with dispatch team
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Jacksonville metro area roadways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Professional communication and customer service skills
