Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Secure cargo properly to ensure safety and prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Assist with loading and unloading operations when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA and DOT compliance requirements.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel long distances.
