Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver goods across San Diego County
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo using proper equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California traffic laws and delivery zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
