Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery trucks (Class A or B CDL required) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and customer satisfaction goals.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers at delivery locations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including mileage and fuel records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in logistics, freight, or general delivery driving is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
