Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver time-sensitive goods throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and maintain on-time delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle product transfers professionally
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations including HOS compliance
- Assist in loading/unloading procedures when necessary to ensure cargo security
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong knowledge of San Jose metro area and surrounding routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in varying weather conditions
- Must be at least 21 years of age with reliable transportation to depot
