Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to deliver time-sensitive cargo across San Diego County
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain detailed vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo using proper equipment handling techniques
- Submit accurate delivery documentation and mileage reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of San Diego County roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must pass comprehensive background check
