Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently across the Raleigh metro area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper securement and handling.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving delivery issues and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and billing documents.
- Report any vehicle mechanical issues or accidents immediately to dispatch.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience (CDL experience preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
