Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) for time-sensitive deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage delivery documentation and proof-of-signature processes
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch regarding delays or issues
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years driving experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Nebraska/Midwest road networks
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Customer service-oriented communication skills
