Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when required
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B CDL) required
- No prior driving experience necessary - we provide paid training!
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Must be 21+ years old
