Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight accurately using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and route maps.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company brand on the road.
- Handle customer interactions professionally, resolving any delivery issues or concerns on-site.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
