Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Load/unload cargo with precision using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records of all shipments
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate optimized routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in logistics/transportation
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in remote/dark conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for logging systems
