Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles for overnight deliveries across designated routes
- Load/unload freight with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (eBOLs)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Navigate efficiently through metropolitan areas and rural highways
- Uphold strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (typically 7 PM - 5 AM)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Pass background check and drug screening
