Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for time-sensitive deliveries across Atlanta metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Navigate complex routes using GPS systems while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route challenges
- Complete electronic logs (ELD) and required documentation with meticulous attention to detail
- Represent company brand through professional appearance and customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with Atlanta metro area roadways and delivery zones
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery windows
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass background/drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile apps
- Flexible availability to work nights (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
