Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for night-time freight delivery
- Execute pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with GPS route optimization
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Resolve delivery exceptions through proactive customer communication
- Collaborate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to HOS regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR and ability to pass DOT physical
- Proven night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM schedule)
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or reefers
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City/Texas highway systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Basic tech literacy for ELD systems
- Drug-free workplace compliance
