Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes using GPS technology while meeting strict deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure proper cargo securement and temperature-controlled environment for sensitive shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Oklahoma City metro area and regional highways
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile communication tools
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication standards
