The Role
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our products arrive safely and on time. We value professionalism and look for candidates who take pride in their workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner throughout the New Orleans area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment (hand trucks, dollies, etc.).
- Interact professionally with customers, including receiving signatures and handling returns.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and delivery van.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Certificate and DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
