Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) safely and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Load and unload cargo using proper material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOL, Delivery Receipts).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
