Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment (forklifts, straps, chains).
- Verify cargo contents and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
