Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Louisiana and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Coordinate delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage route optimization and handle unexpected logistics challenges
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT physical examination and medical certification
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
