Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B CDL required) following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery inquiries.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including mileage and delivery times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
