Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight to designated customer locations in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) and maintain accurate logbooks.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of freight.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues or route deviations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and a clean, organized truck interior.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver in tight loading areas.
