Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the Miami metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate digital logbooks and documentation in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and resolve delivery issues professionally.
- Uphold a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Automotive Insurance and good driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in delivery or logistics driving preferred.
- Strong time management skills and ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
