Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo accurately using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lifting equipment.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, fleet managers, and customers.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and map reading.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude are essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as required.
