Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and regulatory compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper lifting equipment and handling techniques.
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain clear, professional communication with dispatch and customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized cab and cargo area to ensure vehicle readiness for the next shift.
- Update electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately to reflect hours of service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 90 days.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and bending up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
