Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (lift gates, pallet jacks).
- Manage delivery paperwork and maintain accurate logbooks (E-Logs preferred).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
