Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A or Class B vehicles to deliver freight to customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL License (Texas Class A preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required; no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
