Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper safety protocols and material handling equipment.
- Complete and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Adhere to strict schedules to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding routes and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid DOT physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and navigation systems.
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus but not required for immediate consideration.
