Responsibilities
- Operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to safely transport freight and deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage inventory documentation and proof of delivery paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Knowledge of North Carolina roadways and delivery zones
