Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to deliver goods across DC metropolitan area and Virginia
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after routes and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS technology
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Familiarity with DC/VA road networks and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery documentation
- Commercial driver's insurance coverage
