Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficient on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (California state)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Fresno and Central Valley geography
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong communication and time management skills
