Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time delivery updates and problem resolution
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain professional customer interactions during delivery and pickup processes
- Complete digital delivery documentation and route reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (mandatory)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Familiarity with Denver/Texas highway systems and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate pallet jacks
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Zero-tolerance policy for moving violations or DUI history
