Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across San Antonio metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route changes or delivery issues
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio roadways and surrounding areas
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for inventory and delivery documentation
