Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver goods safely and on time to designated locations in the Boston metro area.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, including pallet jacks, straps, and tie-downs.
- Verify delivery documentation and obtain accurate signatures as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes, delays, or issues.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and logkeeping accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT physical) if required by the vehicle type.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
