Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight with attention to security protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Manage delivery documentation and customer communications professionally
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and schedule adherence
- Represent the company with exceptional customer service during all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in using GPS systems and electronic logging devices
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Previous experience with hazardous materials endorsement preferred
