Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and in pristine condition
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and secure materials per safety protocols
- Resolve delivery exceptions and communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Document delivery confirmations and maintain electronic records
- Represent our brand with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia/NYC metro roadways and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and willingness to undergo random drug screening
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
