Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and digital logs using our advanced fleet management system
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication and reliable service
- Adapt routes efficiently using GPS navigation to avoid delays and maximize productivity
- Uphold all DOT regulations and company safety protocols without exception
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and weather conditions
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass regular drug screenings
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging and communication systems
