Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Inspect, maintain, and report vehicle conditions per DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules and troubleshoot delays
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and fleet management systems
- Willingness to travel between Wichita, KS and New York routes
