Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated Texas routes
- Plan efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Utilize GPS tracking systems to optimize delivery schedules and ETAs
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain accurate delivery records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Texas residency required due to regional driving demands
