Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload shipments using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist in route planning and navigation optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience (or recent CDL graduate)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
