Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods on designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness/maintenance logs
- Load/unload shipments efficiently with proper handling procedures
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Submit accurate delivery documentation and mileage reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Virginia roadways and traffic regulations
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
