Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B CDL required) to deliver cargo to various destinations in the San Antonio area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently, adhering to proper weight distribution and securement standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling package handling with care.
- Uphold a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MVR) and DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Basic computer skills for logging and communication purposes.
