Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B vehicles on regional and local delivery routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques, chains, straps, and dollies.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and daily paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or Class B).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
