Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Navigate routes efficiently using company-provided GPS and adhere to traffic laws.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and pass a DOT physical.
- Basic math skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
